Opening PowerShell as Administrator

To open PowerShell as Administrator on Windows 10, follow the steps below.

  1. Search for "PowerShell" in the Start menu, which you open by pressing Win
  2. Right-click on the "Windows PowerShell" application in the Start menu and select "Run as administrator".

To open PowerShell as Administrator on Windows 11, follow the steps below.

  1. Search for "PowerShell" in the Start menu, which you open by pressing Win
  2. Right-click on the "Windows PowerShell" application in the Start menu and select "Run as administrator".
